How To Teach Your Puppy To Be Alone
It’s so important to teach your puppy to enjoy being alone.
This is not something they would naturally choose to do because they’re pack animals and in their minds the pack should stay together, but they can learn and you should start this process when they’re puppies.
If you don’t gently and slowly train them to be confident and content when they’re left alone, you could end up with an adult dog with full blown separation anxiety.
A dog who:
Howls
Barks
Whines
Destroys things or
Hurts themselves in a panicked state
And we want to avoid this fate for your beautiful puppy.
There will be times when you need to leave your dog alone, so start this training as soon as you get your puppy.
