How to Stop Your Puppy From Chewing On Everything
I know how frustrating it is to find your favourite shoe chewed by a puppy.
But it’s important to look at things from your pup’s perspective.
It’s all chew toys to them.
Sometimes they chew on little things that don’t really matter, but sometimes they chew through big-ticket items like sofas, spa pool covers and even the entire interior of your car - which is what happened when a very dear friend of mine rescued a dog off the side of the road.
He couldn’t find the dog’s home and the animal shelter was closed, so he gave the dog some food, water, and a dog bed and left him in the garage.
The dog wouldn’t settle and was pretty distraught, so my friend put him in the car again because he seemed to like that.
When my friend came back to check on him, he discovered the dog had chewed off the steering wheel and destroyed all the seats!
